WOW !! Why not try something new and fun and cool and awesome and wild??? It's OK to be a Lutheran!!! | EARTH DAY (sort of) CELEBRATION!!! Sign up for helping to clean out the church yard, wipe some windows and maybe even roto-till a new PASTORAL CABBAGE PATCH!!!! It is gonna be fun on April 18th. Show up around 10:00 AM (yeah, that is reaaaaaaly early for a Saturday), put in a little work and then sit around and eat free hot dogs, chips and drinks. Bring a frisbee too!!! Sounds like a plan to me. See ya there!
February 22nd was a good Mardi Gras Sunday - Grades 7-12 youth were asked to participate in both services that Sunday by helping to greet, usher, and perform in a skit with Pastor. She's cool, so there were no worries mon! We all wore wear masks, beads, jester hats, etc. and celebrated that Life is Good! Our Youth Group ROCKS!

| Big Event | February 1st was SOUPER Bowl Sunday - Several of our youth did a FANTASTIC job speaking to the congregation about their experiences of working at Open Arms Mission. The older youth at the second service (they do like to sleep in!) took a different approach and created a children's sermon on the subject of feeding the hungry. Both sets of our youth's efforts were well rewarded by our most excellent congregation who donated $530, all of which went to Open Arms Mission. Thanks to everyone who supported the cause!

Memories<<< | December Holiday Party: A small, but SUPERB group was able to get together over the holidays to enjoy some fellowship. Several of our youth who have dispersed to various college campuses were able to join us. Everyone enjoyed some Wii, Guitar Hero, Pool and Ping Pong. We hope to have another get-together in late May as again our college students return for summer break. Stay tuned for more information and, hey, why not join us?

Saint Stephen is the charter organization for a New Cub Pack, for boy’s ages 6 through10-1/2.
We provide meeting space for Boy Scout Troop 190 (boys 10-1/2 thru 17) and Crew 190 (young men and women 14 thru 20)
